AUGUST 21, 2007 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Philanthro Productions To Strut Its Stuff With Party And Fashion Show Benefit For Camp Heartland Cabana Club to Host On-the-Rise Non-Profit’s Third Event for Young Adults Los Angeles, CA (August 21, 2007) - Philanthro Productions, Inc., announced plans today for its next benefit party, naming Camp Heartland as its latest non-profit partner. Following on the heels of successful debuts this summer in both L.A. and San Diego, the highly-anticipated third event will feature a fashion show and take place on Thursday, August 30, at Cabana Club in Hollywood. After earning nearly $10,000 for partner charities The Elizabeth Glazer Pediatric AIDS Foundation and Invisible Children in its two Southern California premieres, Philanthro is looking to broaden the scale and impact of its events. “We feel like we’re in a honeymoon period, and we’re capitalizing on our success to truly establish ourselves among the Gen Y set in Southern California,” says Drew Geisse, 26, co-founder of Philanthro Productions. “With a great venue like Cabana Club, a top-notch fashion show lineup and the experience of our debut under our belt, we’re confident and excited for this event.” The buzz surrounding Philanthro’s third effort demonstrates the promise of their unconventional approach to charity. “It’s a model that few have employed successfully,” says Anneke Jong, 23, Philanthro’s VP of Marketing. “But our fundraising numbers continue to climb, which shows the strong desire of our generation to participate in novel ways of giving back.” The Cabana Club event – titled “Strut” – will
kick off at 9 p.m. with music by DJ Tony Collage of Power 106. The rock’n’roll-themed
fashion show will start at 11:30 p.m., featuring the latest styles from
